The 11th China's National Paralympic Games and the 8th National Special Olympics-Boccia

From October 23rd to 28th, 2021, the Boccia competition of the 11th Paralympic Games and the 8th Special Olympic Games were held in the gymnasium (sub-Gymnasium) of Xi'an Northwest University. The Boccia players compete while seated in wheelchairs. The Competition is divided into singles, doubles, and team competitions. There are seven different groups based on functional classification. Male and female athletes in each group can compete together. In singles and doubles, each game has four innings, each player of singles throws six balls in each inning, and each player of images throws three balls (each team throws six balls); There are six sets in the team competition, and three players of each team throw two balls in each group (6 for each team). The red ball holder throws first, and the score is scored according to the distance from the pitched ball to the center ball. The player with the highest cumulative score wins.

Our implementers and development testers used simulated event data to test the system many times before the Competition, kept close contact with the specialized personnel of the competition committee, strictly followed the competition rules, and ensured the smooth progress of the Competition, which has been praised by the organizing committee.
